Sleepy Thoughts On A Dreary Day

As I sit and ponder my morning, here are some thoughts on the brain.

  • My new carpet comes tomorrow! Cannot wait. We tore apart two bedrooms at once, yes all at once because we are crazy and have been living in the living room (or would it be front room) for 2, maybe 3 weeks now. Tomorrow night I can't wait to get back in my bedroom! Pictures up by the weekend.
  • Do you call it a living room or front room? What's the difference between both? Everything is just a living room to me!
  • How I despise my boss. She was ok yesterday. However, she got cc'd on an email that was sent to me and felt she needed to reply before me! Then botched up the email. Honey, if you don't know what you are doing......do not pretend. Let the professionals take care of it.
  • By the way, today is Boss's Day! Will I even utter those words to my boss? OH HECK NO. I wouldn't give her the satisfaction.
  • I need my nails done - badly.
  • I need to do laundry. We must have a lot of clothes because our butts are still covered in clean clothes, yet my basement looks like a tornado hit it.
  • I now know what exactly co-sleeping is thanks to Jenn from All Natural Mommies. I guess maybe I always knew, but didn't really there was a name associated with it. I just remember having Missy, everyone told me not to let her sleep with me because she will be too attached. Hmmmmmmm, but looking at other mommies maybe I would've done it differently had I of known it was ok.
  • Tonight I must finish up the trim before the carpet guy comes in the morning.
  • Oooooooooooooh, tonight is The Biggest Loser. My favoritest show! And yes, my friends.....I just used the word favorist.

I can't wait to see the pictures of your new rooms! I think doing stuff like that is so fun. My kids don't sleep with me- mostly because I'm a SUPER light sleeper and I don't sleep a wink with them in the bed with me.

Just 2 days ago , I slept on my bed. Not a mattress on a floor. But in a bed! I felt so high off the ground, it's like I have a new bed all over again.

OOh.. the fun of remodeling!

When we were about your age (and yes, I do remember how old you are!)we were remodeling an old house and lived on sub-flooring for 6 months! Our Christmas pictures from that year were pathetic. The day we finally got new carpet, our dear friends next door came over and the four of us sat of the floor in the living room and just reveled in the softness of our new, wonderful -- avocado green shag! Ahhh, the 70's -- so -- colorful!

Enjoy your new carpet -- even through, I'm sure, it can't possibly be as pretty as 70's green shag :)

Wow new carpet, yes! How you will enjoy the remodeling you have done once it is done!! Is it co-sleeping when they sneak into your bed at night for security, once in a while? We have had all of them do that, for the most part they all enjoy their own space and sometimes each others and sometimes ours!!!!!

It seems like the remodelling never ends.....but payoff is worth it. You crack me up with your boss. I know it's frustrating to you. I use to have a boss like that. My boss, like I said before is the best. We are honoring him tomorrow with everyone bringing in food and grazing all day...of course, I will limit my grazing. Just yesterday I passed his office and he's laughing so hard at his computer screen, I asked him what was so funny and he asked me if I got the email that another co-worker sent...I said yes..What other boss would allow email jokes sent around the office...
